Kelola uses a bottom navigation bar with 4 main sections for quick access to core features:

Home Screen Quick Actions

The Home screen provides quick access buttons to common operations:

  • Stock In - Record inventory purchases from suppliers
  • Stock Out - Record sales or inventory usage
  • Audit - Perform stock counts and adjustments
  • Staff - Manage team members (owner only)
  • Expenses - Record business expenditures
  • Contacts - Manage customers and suppliers
  • Transfer - Transfer stock between locations

Home Dashboard

Your business command center.

What You See

  • Today’s Summary: Sales count, revenue, items sold
  • Low Stock Alerts: Products running low
  • Recent Activity: Latest transactions
  • Quick Actions: Shortcuts to common tasks

Actions Available

  • Tap any metric for detailed view
  • Pull down to refresh data
  • Tap alerts to take action

Products Section

Manage your entire product catalog.

Product List View

  • Search bar: Find products instantly
  • Filter options: By category, stock level, status
  • Sort options: Name, price, stock quantity
  • Grid/List toggle: Change display mode

Product Actions

Tap any product to:

  • View/edit details
  • Check transaction history
  • Adjust stock
  • Share product info

💡 Pro Tip: The available actions depend on your role and permissions. Staff members may see fewer options based on their access level.

Complete transaction log and search.

Search & Filter

  • Search by: Product name, customer, transaction ID
  • Filter by: Date range, transaction type, staff member
  • Sort by: Date, amount, product name

  • Switch Business: Change between multiple businesses or create a new one

  • Computer Version: Access Kelola via web browser (web.kelola.co)

Feature-Specific Navigation

Stock Management Pages

When in Stock In/Out/Audit:

  • Left panel: Product catalog (search & select)
  • Right panel: Selected items
  • Bottom bar: Summary and submit button

Report Pages

  • Date selector: Choose report period
  • Chart view: Visual data representation
  • Table view: Detailed numbers
  • Export button: Download as PDF/Excel

Web vs. Mobile Navigation

Mobile App (iOS/Android)

  • Bottom tab navigation with 4 main sections
  • Pull-to-refresh on scrollable screens
  • Tap and hold for additional options
  • Swipe gestures for navigation

Tablet App (Android Tablet)

  • Adaptive layout with master-detail panels
  • Two-column view for History, Products, and other sections
  • POS mode runs in landscape only
  • Compact UI scaling for better use of screen space
  • Printer selection uses bottom sheet interface

Web Version (web.kelola.co)

  • Access via any modern web browser
  • Optimized for desktop and laptop use
  • Larger workspace for managing inventory
  • Same features as mobile app

Note: Keyboard shortcuts are not currently available in the web version.


For Speed

  1. Use the search bar — fastest way to find products
  2. Use quick actions from the Home screen for common tasks
  3. Save frequently used filters in History for quick access

For Accuracy

  1. Check the header title — confirms where you are
  2. Review summary before submitting — prevents errors
  3. Use breadcrumbs — understand your navigation path

Common Navigation Patterns

Finding a Product:
Home → Products → Search → Tap Product

Recording a Sale:
Home → Stock Out → Select Products → Submit

Checking Reports:
Home → View Reports → Select Report Type → Set Date Range

Inviting Staff:
More → Staff → Invite → Enter Phone Number

Adding Expense:
Home → Expenses → Add Expense

Troubleshooting Navigation

”I can’t find a feature”

  • Check your permissions — some features require owner/admin access
  • Look in Account → More — additional options
  • Use search — works across most sections

”The screen looks different”

  • You might be on a different plan — some features are premium
  • Check your role — staff see simplified interfaces
  • Update the app — you might be on an old version
  • Check your internet connection
  • Close and reopen the app
  • Clear cache in Account → Settings → Clear Cache
