When to Use a Draft

Use a stock draft when a transaction is not ready to submit—for example, while counting products, waiting for supplier details, or checking a customer’s order.

Drafts are available for:

  • Stock In
  • Stock Out
  • Stock Audit
  • Stock Transfer

Drafts are saved locally on the device and are separated by business. Do not treat a draft as a completed transaction: it does not change stock or reports until submitted.

Save a Draft

  1. Start a Stock In, Stock Out, Audit, or Transfer
  2. Select products and enter the available details
  3. Tap Save Draft
  4. Return to Home

Kelola saves the selected products, quantities, prices, notes, fees, custom fields, contact or destination, and initial-payment information that applies to the form.

Resume a Draft

  1. On Home, find the Stock card
  2. Tap the draft icon with its number badge
  3. Select a draft from the list
  4. Review and complete the restored fields
  5. Submit the transaction

The draft list shows the stock type, product count, summary or note, and last-updated time.

Remove a Draft

A submitted transaction removes only the draft that was used. Resetting the active form also removes that active draft.

Review a draft before deleting or resetting it. Local drafts may not be recoverable after removal, app-data clearing, or device replacement.

Important Notes

  • Opening a normal stock action starts a clean form
  • Rotating a tablet may temporarily retain form state, but it does not create a saved draft unless you tap Save Draft
  • The transaction date is not restored from a draft; review the date before submitting
  • Drafts do not sync as completed transactions to other devices
