Managing Subscriptions and Payments

Understand renewal, cancellation, upgrades, downgrades, and payment-provider rules for Kelola subscriptions.

On This Page

Start With the Original Provider

Open More → View Subscription Plans and check the provider associated with the current business. Subscription actions differ between Google Play, the App Store, QRIS/Brick, and Paddle.

Subscriptions apply per business, not to every business in the owner’s account.

Google Play

  • Purchase and upgrade from the Kelola app on Android
  • Eligible upgrades move to a higher-priced plan
  • Google Play subscriptions renew automatically while payment succeeds
  • To move to a lower plan, cancel the active subscription in Google Play, keep using it until the paid period ends, then subscribe to the lower plan from Kelola
  • Do not change to another plan directly in Google Play; use Google Play only to cancel unless Kelola tells you otherwise

App Store

  • Purchase and upgrade from Kelola on iPhone or iPad
  • Eligible upgrades move to a higher-priced plan
  • App Store subscriptions renew automatically while payment succeeds
  • For a lower plan, cancel in App Store subscriptions, wait until the paid period ends, then select the new plan in Kelola
  • Do not change plans directly in the App Store unless Kelola directs you to do so

QRIS / Brick

  • Scan the QRIS code with an eligible e-wallet or mobile-banking app
  • Verify the amount before confirming payment
  • You can download the QRIS image when paying on the same phone
  • Activation happens after the payment provider confirms the transaction
  • QRIS subscriptions do not renew automatically
  • An upgrade can apply unused plan value on a prorated basis
  • To downgrade, wait for the current QRIS period to end and then buy the lower plan

Keep the transaction ID until the subscription is active.

Paddle

  • Start plan changes from Kelola
  • Upgrades and billing-period changes can be charged on a prorated basis
  • A downgrade normally takes effect in the next billing period; there is no automatic refund for the unused current period
  • Paddle subscriptions renew automatically while the saved payment method succeeds
  • Use Manage Subscription in Kelola to change payment details or cancel

Cancellation

Cancellation normally stops the next renewal. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.

Always cancel through the original provider:

  • Google Play subscription settings
  • App Store subscription settings
  • Kelola’s subscription-management action for Paddle
  • No cancellation is needed for QRIS because it does not auto-renew

Refunds and Failed Payments

App-store refunds follow the store’s rules. For QRIS or Paddle issues, contact Kelola support. Include:

  • Business name
  • Payment provider
  • Transaction or order ID
  • Date and amount
  • Screenshot or receipt when available

If an automatic renewal fails, update the provider’s payment method and reopen Kelola after the payment is resolved.
